Protecting our world for future generations
Digital technologies have a major role to play in the transition to a low-carbon and less environmentally destructive economy. One of our priorities at Contentsquare is to be a reliable partner in our ecosystem, firmly committed to reducing its CO2 emissions. The first step on our climate journey was to calculate our carbon footprint, the results of which are published on the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) website. Since then, we’ve become a signatory of The Climate Pledge, a commitment by companies and organizations to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 — a decade ahead of the Paris Agreement’s goal of 2050. From optimizing our products to reduce energy consumption to sustainable sourcing, via making our offices greener, we strive to make eco-conscious choices whenever it’s possible.


Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We go further, together. From following inclusive hiring practices to build a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities and markets we serve, to ensuring equitable compensation, advancement and career opportunities for all employees, our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is key to how we show up, relate with one another and deliver great work every day. In 2022, we signed the Pacte Parité, a movement started by the Mission French Tech for a fairer French tech ecosystem. As part of this commitment we are pledging to have at least 20% of women on our board of directors by the end of 2025 and 40% by the end of 2028. Read more about the Pact Parité.
Digital Accessibility
Helping to create a more inclusive digital world
Over 1 billion people worldwide live with a condition impacting their access to the web, and over 90% of web content is not accessible. This last point is really important to us, and it’s why we’ve put Digital Accessibility at the heart of our company mission – a commitment we cemented when we acquired assistive tech company AdaptMyWeb in 2020. Today, we’re committed to making our platform accessible, training our teams as accessibility advocates, and helping shape a truly inclusive web. Read our accessibility statement here.
In 2021, Contentsquare launched the Contentsquare Foundation with a mission to break down accessibility barriers. It is at the forefront of our digital accessibility efforts, operating as an advocacy tank, educational resource, and innovation hub. The Foundation’s goal is to foster a fair and inclusive digital world for everyone.

Digital Trust is an integral part of how we conduct our business and develop our products. Our vision and future as a group depends on the trust others have in our secure and responsible handling of data — our customers and their customers, our employees, business partners and other stakeholders such as regulators or NGOs. Our goal for the industry is to create a high-performance solution that collects the absolute minimum of personal data. We strive for digital sobriety and we offer a solution that enables data minimization as presented in several Privacy regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

The Contentsquare Foundation
Helping to create a more inclusive digital world
In 2021, we launched the Contentsquare Foundation with a mission to help make the digital world more accessible. We know that building a fair and inclusive digital world won’t happen overnight. We also know that systematically breaking down digital barriers for people with disabilities requires a mindset shift, which itself requires time and education. Through raising awareness about Digital Accessibility and driving change via advocacy, education, partnerships and research, the Contentsquare Foundation is helping to engage, mobilize and educate the communities that are shaping and building the Web of tomorrow.
