📈 Volkswagen Group China is delivering at Shanghai Auto Show, presenting the largest-ever offensive of “Intelligent Connected Vehicles” (ICV). By 2027, the Volkswagen Group will launch more than 20 fully electric and electrified models. Among them, the first vehicles developed exclusively in China for Chinese customers, unleashing the power of the strong "In China, for China" strategy. Check the four stars, all developed in China, for China: + 𝐈𝐃. 𝐄𝐕𝐎 + 𝐈𝐃. 𝐄𝐑𝐀 + 𝐈𝐃. 𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐀 The production versions of the three concept vehicles will be equipped with AI-supported systems for highly automated driving (ADAS). This will enable the vehicles to achieve Level 2++ automated driving on the highway and in urban areas as early as next year. + 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈 𝐄𝟓 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 The first model of the new AUDI brand combines unmistakable Audi DNA with China-specific innovations. Offering premium quality and comfort, as well as numerous AI-supported digital functions. The lidar-based AUDI 360 Assisted Driving system ensures a safe and relaxed driving experience even in complex traffic situations. Designed for technology-focused premium customers, the E5 Sportback will be launched in late summer 2025. To sum it up: Volkswagen, AUDI AG, Porsche AG, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., Bentley Motors and Ducati Motor Holding showed exciting products to journalists at the Group Media Night. The first models of the new AUDI brand and the Volkswagen brand, developed entirely in China for China, will be launched to the market, soon.

🌍 These days, the automotive world is looking at China, for the Auto Shanghai. For the first time, the Volkswagen Group unveiled models at the Volkswagen Group Night on the eve of the fair. They were all entirely developed in China, for China: three Volkswagen brand concept cars and the first model of the new AUDI brand. 5️⃣ These stunning world premieres were complemented by a fifth car, the Audi A6L. It’s based on the Premium Platform Electric and also tailored to the preferences of Chinese consumers. 💡 The premiere of the self-developed “Automated Driving Assistance System”(#ADAS) is highlighting our local technology expertise: Volkswagen will unveil the first vehicle equipped with the system already this year. Starting in 2026, the system will be integrated into a new generation of “Intelligent Connected Vehicles” (#ICV) in the compact class. This will make automated driving accessible to even more people. Additional new models from our colleagues Bentley Motors, Ducati Motor Holding, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., and Porsche AG further reinforce the Group’s continued strong presence in the Chinese market. 💬 Oliver Blume, CEO Volkswagen Group: “China is the technological pacemaker of global transformation.
