Thierry Breton spoke this morning at the Micropole Swiss Data & AI Summit here in Geneva. The former European commissioner and businessman spoke about the value of AI and how businesses and govt could capitalise on the opportunity.. “For me, AI is not a revolution; it is the continuation of the first computer.. For a quarter of a century, we have been storing all personal data and exploiting it. We are not facing a major disruption, but rather a continuum. The next challenge is: how do we create value, and how do we exploit it?” He then went on to talk about the EU AI Act which has established a comprehensive framework for the regulation of AI, which will set a precedent for global governance. The AI Act is intended to unify the single data market in Europe with simple rules. Quels enjeux, quel avenir ? », organisée par la Chaire Femmes et Science à l'Université Paris Dauphine- PSL, notre Président et Cofondateur, Mehdi Houas a partagé sa vision sur l'identification et la correction des biais dans l'intelligence artificielle. Les stéréotypes de genre influencent dès l'enfance les ambitions professionnelles. Un autre exemple : une requête telle que « trouve-moi un chef de projet » peut sans intention favoriser des profils masculins, renforçant ainsi des biais dans nos systèmes.
