  • Is your hiring strategy built for the future... or stuck reacting to yesterday?  👀 We collaborated with HR.com on their newest 'Future of Talent Acquisition 2025' study and found that: → Over 50% of hiring is still 'just-in-time'. ⏱️  → Finding candidates with the right skills is the #1 challenge (53%).  → 'Time to Hire' still beats 'Quality of Hire' as the top metric for most (59% vs 44%). If the goal is a strong talent pipeline (like 63% of leaders want!), relying on outdated methods and prioritizing speed won't get us there. Skills-based hiring focuses on verified ability, helping you build quality teams proactively. This focus on speed over substance fuels reactive cycles and overlooks the skills essential for long-term success. This natural tendency to hire 'look-a-likes' means we often miss out on amazing talent just because they don't immediately seem familiar or fit the usual mold. 🪞 Relying only on interviews or resumes lets this bias creep in easily. Turns out our brains are naturally looking to hire ourselves in the hiring process! The effect isn’t as strong with women (we see a gender 50-50 balance). But when men take the wheel? Hello, boys' club! 🙋♂️ This isn't about pointing fingers - we're all guilty of gravitating toward what feels familiar.
