Young generation and technologies. Recently, when I have been listening a talk in HealthTech about mental well-being, I’ve heard a thesis that the younger generation is good at understanding technologies, so all this story with apps and digital mental health will be very successful for them. But I have a question: what are the facts that this generation is good at understanding technologies? From my experience working in a school, I was very surprised that children who grew up surrounded by technology themselves don't know how to use a bunch of useful apps. Comparing it with my generation, which was born without these technologies — we had much more interest (and hence, experience) in them when they appeared. Jung once mentioned — who knows the least about water? The fish. Who knows the least about technologies? Those who grew up in the technological world. I'm not sure that the modern generation knows technologies better than the generation one unit above. Thus, it’s really a challenging premise for a product in HealthTech…

Small, and sometimes even medium-sized product teams view research as a long, expensive, and biased process. So they tend to avoid it at all. At JetStyle we believe any product development process should start and be constantly accompanied by research. It’s an integral part of hypothesis testing, even if the result of research has proved your hypothesis to be wrong. We’re going to share our cost-effective method of research for product development. It takes a minimum amount of resources and applies to products of all sizes. All you need to launch is a number of users enough for a NPS survey. For this we’re going to release a series of posts written together with Polina Bynova, head of Marketing at JetStyle and an experienced marketing consultant. She’s been managing research activities in product teams, and she knows how to launch them quickly. Your product wins when you process customer feedback regularly. The more you experiment with data, the more you customize the research process according to your business requirements. 🕸 From CMS Basics to Market-Ready Speed 🚀 I've always believed that hands-on experience and speed are critical for our interns' success in the highly polarized web project market. At ArchLabs, we ensure that our interns aren't just familiar with the basics but are equipped to handle real-world projects efficiently. Take WordPress, for example. It's often considered a no-brainer for many, but we use it as an introductory CMS to teach our interns about backend architecture and segmentation. This foundation is crucial for understanding how a backend operates, something I noticed many interns initially lack. I remember the days when we were deeply involved with Joomla. Our devs who mastered it turned out to be exceptional backend developers. They understood the intricacies of development, even if some functionalities were missing from the wireframe. This kind of deep understanding is what we aim to instill in our interns. Speed is another essential element. Small project briefs from platforms like Upwork are often extremely simple and abstract. To excel in this environment, our interns need to complete 20-30 good projects to truly understand and forecast what customers want. These projects are tiny, with minimal briefing time, so protection is necessary. That's where our training at ArchLabs comes in. Our approach is to train interns to think like customers. For instance, check out how Ruchaka Lakshan was trained to brainstorm and complete a basic brochure site in just five working days. This is the speed we need to compete in the small project market. By fostering such skills, we not only protect our interns but also ensure they are market-ready, capable of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. How often do you look at a graph in an app and think: "Wow, this is real front-end craftsmanship"? That doesn't happen often, but we had the chance to participate in such a project for MarTech, using React and the latest tools from its ecosystem. The goal was to create a graph to show the relations between different keywords. It had to combine features of a radar graph and a heat map. The platform processes a high volume of data, so the architecture had to guarantee high performance and reliability.
