Under this ruling, the seller may decide not to pay the buying side commission leaving the buyer to foot the bill partially or fully. Usually the Seller pays the buying and selling commission to the agents but some sellers may decide not to do this going forward and to prepare for this Stephen will discuss ways that mortgage providers can help lift this financial burden. This was the starting or ending point of nearly every discussion we had. Are companies prepared for this? Unfortunately, many aren't. Only a small fraction of subprime lenders have focused on optimizing processes, enhancing underwriting analytics, or improving collection efficiency. What can be done in this situation? This is the time for mortgage bankers. Now. Adapt. Invest in change. Stop hoping. Losses on loan origination are dropping as costs have come under control. The demand from investors for non agency whole loans and agency MSR is through the roof. So many correspondent channels being restarted and bolstered. Who is committed to providing warehouse lending is changing, as well as how they do it. Embrace a sophisticated MSR strategy that ensures your firm’s future success. Demand more efficiency from your warehouse lender. Position your L.O.s for future success. Build a firm that treats homeowners as a resource not a transaction. Investors, look beyond the barriers. There are many many opportunities in both standard flows and niches. Whole loans and MSR are so much more transparent and manageable than credit risk transfers. Do not miss the trend in front of you because you are following the herd. There are teriffic turn key counterparties and vendors who can help you bridge the gaps and get you set up to bring your demand to bear on the market more directly. Government agencies, coordinate and understand the consequences. A presidential election year is fraught enough. Do not rush out changes and proposals which conflict or muddy perspective on a marketplace in transformation. Solutions must not be in search of a problem. Change and adapt now. Keep up the intensity even though it’s summer and there are plenty of distractions. What are we doing now to benefit us in November? 🚨Implosion Alert 🚨 Shenanigans continue in the banking industry. The CEO hired his wife and dog 😵‍💫😱😳 ‼️Republic First Bank ‼️ The rot and greed is in the executive board rooms while the customers and employees pay the price. Instead of doing the right thing and putting depositors' money to work into neglected segments of the community (that's the whole purpose of a community bank charter after all!), these "bank executives" - IMO sleezy used car salesmen in designer suits - went for the easy money and loaded the Republic First Bank's balance sheets with high risk securities. Many more banks will fail because they have recklessly invested OUR money when the Fed was giving it away during the pandemic - a time of national crisis. These "executives" took advantage of the system during a crisis while the rest of the nation struggled to survive. What's the solution ? 1. The Fed should confiscate all of the personal assets of these dirty bankers 2. AI + blockchain technology is rendering all them irrelevant.
