While the focus of our last few videos looked at Gen AI producing new video, this movie looks at creating short videos from pre-existing sources and then automatically editing it for your type of narrative. Now this goes a bit further than an editorial assistant who could take video, organize it for you through color coding and folder structure, and even provide rough string out-cuts of a scene or commercial. Now, a few years ago, I remember being amazed at seeing the potential of this technology. Adobe did a study with Stanford for narrative video editing, and the process was simple. Number one, it gave a computer a bunch of raw footage shot on set for a dialogue scene. For instance, let's say a film scene is three minutes long.
