- [Instructor] When styling your text, you might realize that you want to bring the reader's attention to a specific part of the paragraph, or you want to point out a specific kind of information. And for your portfolio, this can be something like the name of your clients, but even more important your contact details and the web portfolio navigation. Let me show you how to do so by overriding a paragraph style with the use of a character style. For this example, I will start by selecting the main navigation. Press the letter T to activate the type tool and double click on the navigation we previously created. If you have not been following along in the previous video, just simply type any text to follow along with this example. Now, open the character style panel as we did for the paragraph style.
