- [Lecturer] Welcome to this video. Here, we will explore another graphic element that will repeat itself in each page. We're talking about the layout grid. Creating a grid layout will allow consistency in the design. A grid will promote clarity, helping you to organize content consistently throughout the document. You can refer at your sketches to create a grid that will help you to reflect the design at best. To create a suitable grid for your graphics, head back to the parent pages and then choose the layout top menu, and then create guides. Make sure to take preview to see the grid coming to life inside your document as you edit the grid settings. Input the number of rows and columns. I will set at 18 of rows and 9 columns grid. Then set the gutter, which is the space between each row and column. I will add a 15 point gutter to both columns and rows. Press okay to apply the grid. You can edit your grid at any time by…
