How to navigate Salesforce
- [Instructor] Let's look at how to navigate to various objects and features, and how you can customize certain aspects of the navigation in Salesforce. This navigation bar shows all the tabs for the core objects that we commonly work with in Salesforce. But see this little arrow here, right next to the object name? If you click this, you can quickly access several shortcuts. You can click into any record that you've favorited, records you've recently clicked on, or recent list views that you've accessed, plus the option to create a new record at the very top. Depending on your job role, you'll most likely have tabs for Opportunities, Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Tasks, Dashboards, and Reports. Your Salesforce admin will provide the baseline set of tabs that you use most often, knowing that you'll reorder them, or you'll add additional tabs that you need.
