- [Presenter] When deploying a VoIP infrastructure, misconfigurations can lead to issues that degrade service quality. In this segment, we'll review common problems and troubleshooting strategies related to SIP trunking and DSIPRouter configuration. SIP trunking is commonly used by businesses and service providers to connect VoIP servers to the public switch telephone network for external calling. To make outbound calls, you must register with a SIP trunk provider. Let's talk about some of the issues you might face. One is SIP trunk registration failures due to invalid username, password, or SIP domain IP in the trunk settings. Calls may drop after a few seconds because of NAT issues or incorrect session timers, causing SIP sessions to expire prematurely. Outbound calls may fail if the SIP trunk provider requires specific caller ID formats or authentication methods. Additionally, no incoming calls may occur if the provider is not routing inbound calls to the correct SIP URI or PBX…
