I recently joined GitKraken as Principal UX Designer, focused on GitKraken Desktop. The timing couldn’t have been better. Within my first two weeks, the team launched GitKraken AI. These are new features across Desktop, GitLens, and CLI that bring thoughtful, practical AI into the developer workflow. From smarter commit messages to proactive merge conflict detection, it’s all about helping devs move faster with less friction. While I didn’t work on these features directly, it’s been inspiring to see how intentional the team has been in building tools that actually make development smoother, not more complicated.
