How I win more business in the DM's. (Without pitch slapping a single prospect) The "Rule of Communication" is made up of: → Words: 7% → Voice: 38% → Body language: 55% Text based DM's: → Include words → Lack voice/tonality → Lack body language ⤷ You leverage 7% of the "Rule of Communication" Voice note DM's include: → Include words → Include voice → Lack body language ⤷ You leverage 45% of the "Rule of Communication" Video DM's include: → Include words → Include voice → Include body language ⤷ You leverage 100% of the "Rule of Communication" So, you can choose to: → Send text based DMs → Send voice note DM's → Send video DM's But if you really want to: → Stand out → Build rapport → Increase familiarity → Nurture relationships → Convey your enthusiasm → Build know, like and trust faster → Share body language and facial expression → Leverage 100% of the "Rule of Communication" Video DM's are a gamechanger. And the best part... Typical responses to video messages: → Wow, I had no idea you could send video DM's → You're the first person to ever send me a Video DM → Appreciate you taking the effort to personalise this DM Does this take a little bit longer? Sure! Is it worth that extra time and effort? Absolutely! P.S. Want to WIN on LinkedIn just $9/month? Join 150+ solopreneurs in the BrandIn Community (Via my featured section)

Does having a beautiful setup like yours help😁😁?
Brilliant post!
To be honest with yo, never knew of video DM.... Like it is super cool, more like you are have a real time conversation. So you can use .. -text -voicenote -video.. and step up your DM games. Thank you Craig Dean
Useful tips, thanks Craig Dean
Thanks for the reminder, Craig Dean I find communicating on video easier than typing words Video DM sounds like something I should start doing
Craig, such great advice! When I started a few years ago, I felt so awkward in front of the camera. Like anything else, practice makes progress, and it becomes much easier.
I think there's something to be said for using different tactics. If you always send video DMs they lose their novelty and efficacy. And it takes the listener extra effort to listen to a video DM (i.e. the desire to be somewhere quiet). Don't get me wrong I love video DMs but there's definitely a time and place for them.

11mo📌 This is not to say that I don't use text based DM's. I most definitely do but when Prospecting, you can't beat video dms. Have you ever sent a voice note or a video DM?
