⏳ Spending hours getting data infrastructure set up for a simple bit of analysis? Check out our open-source "Modern Data Stack in a Box" template to help get going quicker 🚀 We combine #dlthub pipelines, #duckdb storage, #dbt data modelling and #superset visualisation layer to streamline setup for ad-hoc tasks. Key features of our template include: - All the goodness of dlt for handling API timeouts, retries, pagination and more - Auto-creation of dbt project structure and staging dbt models - Auto-update of dbt YAML config as the pipeline evolves - Auto-synchronisation of column types and constraints into dbt tests - Extensibility for local or remote databases, schedulers, data quality tests and more Whether you're a hobbyist coder, a startup or an SME, finding a way to cut down on the "busy work" and get to insight quicker is huge. Have a play and let us know whether this helps to reduce mundane, repetitive activity for you. What additional data tools would you like to see included? Log analytics firm Parseable raises $2.75M from Peak XV’s Surge “Every company I spoke to was frustrated about the cost and complexity of log analytics, while also looking to find new ways to extract insights from their data. We see a foundational shift of moving away from siloed data infrastructure,” Nitish Tiwari, founder of Parseable said. #Parseable #CloudAnalytics #SeedFunding #VentureCapital #TechStartups #DataManagement #OpenSource #ArtificialIntelligence #DeepTech #BusinessNews #Keralanews #Kerala #BusinessReviewLive #BRL #Keralabusiness

Ever heard of a tarpit idea? Basically a tarpit idea is one that seems very appealing, and many people have tried to make it work, but ultimately no one has really achieved product market fit. So as I've been thinking about it, I'm starting to believe that no-code orchestration tools and no-code ETL tools may be tarpit ideas? Tools like Fivetran, Airbyte, Gathr, and literally a billion others all claim to handle moving data from A -> B with low/no code. And they work in 90% of use cases. The issue lies in the last 10%, which will almost always need a code solution. While these tools may be useful, if we always need 2+ tools to get data into our warehouses, are they really worth it? I think many people would argue yes, but what's your take? https://lnkd.in/g74pNmpj

#HerbertvonKarajan 2.0 It’s right there in the company’s name Kestra is all about "or-kestra-tion". The product acts a bit like a train station manager, but for a business environment: #Kestra makes sure the trains run on time, are on the right tracks and are heading to the right station. In more complex terms, Kestra is an event-driven orchestration and scheduling platform that lets companies define and automate complex data workflows. The startup just raised an $8M funding round led by Alven, with existing investors Isai and Axeleo Capital (AXC) participating once again. https://lnkd.in/dsfi69gG Source : Romain Dillet

I have loved learning about what Grepr and Jad Naous have been building over the last few years. I have watched the observability costs rise dramatically without a parallel feature function. Grepr is coming to market to solve for both! This is an opportunity for all the data platform teams to have a better choice in the market finally! #observanility #ai #dataplatform
Today we're announcing our $9M round led by Martin Casado from Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Ed Sim from boldstart ventures. We've been hard at work building Grepr to help companies reduce observability costs and pave the way for the next exponential growth in complexity as the AI boom expands. Grepr has been able able to reduce costs by upwards of 90% through non-linear techniques. All the details in our blog post: https://lnkd.in/gFdVH-bs!
