🚀 Why User-Centric Design Matters in Product Development 💡 We all aim to create products that stand out, but what’s the real secret to a product’s success? It’s simple: listening to your users. Whether you’re building an app, website, or service, user feedback is not just an afterthought—it’s the foundation of great product design. Take Dropbox, for example. Initially, it was just a file-sharing service, but by continuously gathering user feedback, they introduced game-changing features like shared folders and team collaboration. Or think about Slack. Users casually started adding emojis to messages, and Slack turned that into a full-blown feature—making collaboration even more fun and interactive. 🔑 Key Takeaways: 1️⃣ Start with user research to truly understand their pain points. 2️⃣ Gather feedback early and often—before committing to full-scale development. 3️⃣ Iterate based on what real users need, not just what we think they need. A user-centric approach doesn’t just make products better—it makes them loved. 💬 Have you been gathering user feedback on your products recently? What changes did you implement based on it? Let’s connect and chat about how user feedback can shape better product decisions! hashtag #ProductManagement #DesignThinking #UserExperience #Learning #Knowledgesharing

🚀 Day 1 of 14: Let’s dive into the essentials of product management tools! 🔧 Figma: Figma is a collaborative, cloud-based design tool that product managers and designers use to create interactive prototypes, wireframes, and UI designs. Its real-time collaboration feature lets multiple team members work on the same design simultaneously, making it ideal for quick iterations and feedback. Figma’s versatility extends from early sketches and low-fidelity wireframes to pixel-perfect designs and interactive prototypes, streamlining the design workflow and keeping everyone aligned. Real-World Example: Take a fintech startup working on a new mobile banking app. The product manager, designers, and stakeholders can work together in Figma, each contributing to the design in real-time. While designers fine-tune the visuals, the product manager can monitor the user journey and leave comments to align with user needs. This approach allows the team to test various design ideas rapidly, adjust based on feedback, and present the final design to developers—all within Figma. Want to master Figma and other key tools? Finally carving out time for my Figma course. And I came across this very insightfull case study of improving the Uber app in 2016. 🔍It shows that (good) user research is needed to get inisght into why users don't love your product and how it contributes to stagnating growth. 🤔You need time to create a thorough understanding/ analysis of the problem and solution context. It is crucial to formulate the right questions to solve. ⚡️It is necessary to go out and test your solution ideas asap with real uses. To de-risk and speed up the design process. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐈/𝐔𝐗 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 What is Prototyping? Prototyping is like a test run for your designs. It’s where you create a simplified version of your app or website to see how everything works together before you finalize it. Why Is Prototyping So Important? ✅Prototyping helps you bring Ideas to Life: Prototyping turns your ideas from abstract concepts into something you can see and interact with. This makes it easier for everyone including clients, team members, or stakeholders to understand your vision and give meaningful feedback. ✅Test the User Experience: A prototype lets you simulate the user journey, helping you identify any issues or confusing areas before the final product is built. ✅Save Time and Resources: Prototyping allows you to detect and fix problems early on, saving both time and money. ✅Improve Team Collaboration: Prototypes serve as a common ground where designers, developers, and clients can see how everything is coming together. This helps everyone stay aligned and makes the handoff to development smoother. Prototyping ensures that by the time you’re ready to launch, your product is not just visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. Here’s an example of an Onboarding prototype #MentorshipwithGoodness

So, this No Code project was my first time into the collaborative pool, a crash course alongside my Project Manager. We tag-teamed to cover for the missing UX designer and knocked out the MVP for this fitness routine tracker app. Forget the pristine bootcamp tutorials, real-world deadlines are messy! We managed to pivot and get some solid research in. From there, it was all about crafting user stories, empathy maps, user personas, and task flows through good old impact mapping that gave us a user-centered foundation. From penciled sketches to Figma prototypes, the core functionalities took shape. Insights from real fitness enthusiasts threw some curveballs, but their feedback ultimately shaped the app for the better. It wasn't perfect, but for us, a Project Manager and UX newbies, five weeks of hustle resulted in a product we're proud of. This project was a valuable lesson in adaptability, user research, design, and collaboration. Now I'm facing new challenges with bigger squads, not less chaos though. #NoCountryTech #ProductDesign #NoCode This is the prototype...

🎨 How Design Tools Can Help You Propelling Projects Forward 🚀 Once, I was leading an initiative to merge a bank's user authentication and data governance platform into the similar of a digital ecosystem. Our aim? Create a unified user experience across all ecosystem services. As you can imagine, the registration requirements for movie-streaming and banking apps aren't exactly the same. This goal was incredibly challenging for the entire team. After extensive brainstorming, we crafted a rough user journey using flows and wireframes. Being a critical strategic project, the end-user experience needed validation from two VPs: one for ecosystem marketing and another for daily banking. Our presentation had to be as realistic, concise, and clear as possible. Using Figma's dynamic prototype feature — which can be cast to a mobile phone — I demonstrated our users' actual behavior across various ecosystem mobile apps. I even simulated the SMS notification animation for account creation, making the prototype feel like a real product. Thanks to Figma, our meeting with the VPs was a success, and we got the green light to proceed with the project. For product managers, mastering UX/UI basics and tools isn't just essential for feature development — it's a powerful asset for presenting your vision to stakeholders and end-users. #productmanagement #uxui #uxdesign #customerjourney #figma #prototyping #casestudy
