Part 2 of how NOT to run an OKR program! ☠️ 1️⃣ Give everyone the choice to opt-in or out of the OKR process. They probably already have enough on their plate, anyway. 2️⃣ The vaguer you are about the rationale behind the OKR program's implementation, the better. Nobody needs to know why this is important. Transparency is soooo overrated. 3️⃣ Have each team create their OKRs and track progress in separate documents across multiple applications. This will make reporting a lot more fun, as you'll have to chase down updates and it will seem more like a game. 4️⃣ Make sure everyone in the organization is approaching the OKR process differently and on their own terms. That way, they'll never have questions about the process, because they'll be making it up as they go along.
