This simple HubSpot Service Hub tip is going to blow your mind. 🤯 And, more importantly, help you write KB articles that your users actually need! 🧡 All you have to do is click on the "Insights" tab and check out the "Search terms with no results" report. That's EVERYTHING your users are searching for in your Knowledge base, but can't find. Got a term that keeps showing up? Write a new article. It's that easy! (Want a real life example? We kept seeing the term "contraseña" in one Service Hub portal. It was everyone in LATAM trying to figure out how to reset their password! There was already an article on that topic—in English—but clearly they needed a translated version.)

Your internal IDs in Hubspot properties MATTER. I know, they're basically invisible in the front end so you probably think they don't matter. But you're wrong. 🚩 I just came across a workflow that wasn't copying the company property to the contact property because the internal values in the pick list were "TEST" on the company property and "Test" on the contact property. Now, this exact case doesn't come up when you use the new sync property type of course (thank youuuu HubSpot for that amazing new feature!). If you ever - actually, let's just say WHEN you get to the point where you want to do custom reporting outside of Hubspot, those internal IDs are the basis of everything. Do your future self a favor: standardize your capitalization and check your spelling when you're adding new internal values to a property.

Hubspot consultants - I have just saved you days! You can now copy and paste custom properties between accounts. My latest Snippet Power Tools feature eliminates this tedious task. Previously, if you wanted to get your selection of custom properties onto multiple accounts you had to do it manually. Every. Last. One. Now, you simply select whatever you want to copy in the properties table. Hit "Copy", go to the new account, Hit "Paste". If this is part of your new client workflow - I've probably just eliminated days of work from your life. Are there any other parts of Hubspot that could use a copy and paste button? Let me know, you might just get it.

Something that I really like in the HubSpot and Wix platforms is that they create automatic URL mapping if you change the path. On HubSpot there is some Bug I've had to delete it and recreate it manually anyway.

Being an “expert” isn’t about knowing all the answers: It's about knowing where to go to find them. No one can have all the answers, all the time. “Experts” don't know everything, but what they typically do (in my experience) is exude enough confidence that they can find the answers faster than almost anybody else. And then they back it up. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁: A prospect of mine had a query about a specific feature in HubSpot (Customised Quotes FWIW). I've used customised quotes in the past but not extensively. Their specific query related to pulling custom properties into quotes. The quote template they were using was unable to achieve this. So after some back and forth, a bit of digging, and support from Hannah Ostick at HubSpot, we got it working and the deal closed. I hate the word "expert" - but if that's a word you use, don't expect your employees, consultants, specialists, or whomever, to have all the answers. That's impossible. But you should expect them to go and find them.
