I think you’ve highlighted an area that will often be overlooked in pure migration projects—usually because teams lack content modeling experience or are limited by tight budgets. But good content migration requires a solid understanding of what’s being migrated and the ability to design and implement better models. There’s a risk it will just turn into running the Migration tool and manually filling in only the gaps, but I’m hopeful that teams and clients will see the value of thoughtful modeling and use migration as an opportunity to improve their content structure.
