Do you want more local clients? Most local "mom and pop" businesses would rather work with someone local to their business. Why? You know them. You have a common community. You can meet them for coffee (that's still a thing 😉) But how can you get more local clients? Here's how I've done it, and many of my clients. 1. Claim your Google My Business profile and set it up with your hours, photos, description and reviews. 💡 Why? Google recommends businesses with Google pages. 😉 (So keep yours updated) Try it (search "salons near me" for example and see what comes up. 2. Answer clients frequently asked questions on your website. 💡Why? Google recommends websites that that have articles/blog posts that are helpful. (Try it wink 😉) 3. Use a booking calendar to schedule discovery/intro calls for prospects. 💡Why? To save you and your clients time. A booking calendar sets appropriate boundaries around your schedule and theirs, and it'll help you better prepare your sales conversation. And no you don't have to be techie, but you do have to be consistent.
