At Roblox, safety and civility is the foundation to all of the work we do. Last year we shipped over 40 safety improvements, including updates to Parental Controls and our open-source voice safety classifier. Today, we're releasing an update to our open-source voice safety classifier that brings support for seven different languages and significant accuracy improvements. We're thrilled to see our community engaging with the model, which has now surpassed 23,000 downloads on GitHub and Hugging Face. Can we release an update that filters who can play with who. Not to mention this whole 17+ update. Who thought it was an amazing idea to let users under 18 mingle with users above 18. Laws still are in place for most the US. Preventive Maintenance is something I think ROBLOX should look into. Have a team to assess the current age climate. Maybe then. Will we realize we have created a playground for not so holy things. This is a major issue. Let's fix it :D

1wWe are currently observing a widespread hacker attack targeting Roblox accounts. Affected users report that their region settings are being changed to Vietnam, resulting in the inability to access or play the game. Immediate action is recommended to secure compromised accounts.
