Earlier this week, physics professor Alexander Maloney was named Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences' inaugural Kathy and Stan Walters Endowed Professor of Quantum Science, acknowledging accomplishments and impact on the program. This professorship was made possible thanks to a generous gift from Kathy Walters ’73 and her husband, Stan ’72. The endowed position allows faculty and students to engage in cutting-edge research.
